These are cross-dressing or possibly trans-cows. Demonstrating the essential fluidity of gender. Or something. You know.

Yeah right Vron :-) I'm sure the advertising agencies along with Boddington and Anchor are genderqueer activists really, attempting to undermine the hegemony of dualistic gender notions. We should make sure we buy their products. I'm sure it's really NOT that they are JUST STUPID!

I'm now awaiting someone with a radical animal rights stance to tell me it's about making people forget that milk products (which as far as I know, Boddington's is not- isn't it a beer?) come from a female animal which has to be regularly impregnated to keep her producing milk, so that we have no chance to develop compassion or identification with her and go vegan.

Again, for me the simplest answer is the best. They are JUST STUPID!! And it's the level of ignorance that is fascinating and terrifying.
