Morag is the Gaelic rendition of my name Sarah, and my Eyrie is where I perch in my 3rd floor Glasgow tenement flat, making feminist, queer, shamanistic and librarianly observations on the world around me.
Glasgow Returns Ghost Dance Shirt to the Lakota People I wrote this as a news item for the American journal Shaman's Drum but they never published it. I think it was an exciting and important event! This is a short piece.
The Buck Stops Here: Ancestors and Land - An early article on shamanism and ethics by me This was published in the UK shamanic newsletter Spirit Talk in 2000/2001. I'm a tiny bit embarrassed by my own earnestness but the essential sentiments I still agree with. NB: I did not approve of the inappropriate use of Maori imagery in this publication of my article.

Bi Glasgow: Notes on Running a Successful Bi Group A little something I wrote for Bi Community News. How to apply 12-step organisation principles. You may not agree with the 12-step model, but they are a great success as a non-profit community based organisation.
Fighting Section 28 in Scotland Reminiscince and reflection on the Section 28 Campaign in Scotland from a bisexual perspective- written for Bi Community News on the occasion of England and Wales finally repealing that dastardly act.
The Fifth Bisexual Thing: Bisexuality and Sex & the City A long and sadly obsessive piece on the representation of bisexuality in SATC, from a confirmed fan. Includes star ratings for "Attitude to Bisexuality" and "Disappointment Factor" for each episode reviewed. This was never published in Bi Community News- too long and silly I guess.
