I made a Google Map of all the specialist chocolate shops, restaurants, cafes and delicatessans I've been in around the world. It's an ongoing work in progress. Let me know if you want to contribute anything. I'm particularly interested in gourmet hot chocolate.
Most recent shop added: Opposite Cafe in Leeds, yummy organic hot chocolate made from Divine 70% chocolate and organic milk:
An example of what you might find: the superb Aztec (70%) hot chocolate I had during the Dublin Core 2008 Conference in Berlin, at Cacao Sampaka in Berlin:
This is Morag's Chocolate Map as delivered via Map Channels. The Google Map links for more info within each item's description don't work.

Thanks Annie! I'm actually considering doing the map in a different way that Map Channels because I'm not sure I like how it turned out- but I will add your link and comment to it. Re their website: American Election Chocolates? It seems Obama's assortment includes Hawaiian Pineapple, Kenyan Coffee, Kansas Corn Crunch and Tennessee Sour Mash. McCain's includes Arizona Citrus, Hot Pepper Tequila, Peanut Butter, and Kentucky Rye. So- they're non-partisan I guess.

OK Annie- I added your chocolate shop with your comment - see above! Hope other folks will be inspired to also send me chocolate shops they have known and loved. NB: This map is created in Google Maps so I can invite you to be a collaborator and you can add your own chocolate shops with comments.

William Curley in Richmond is a fantastic chocolate shop - although I've not tried their hot chocolate, if it is anything like up to the quality of the chocolate they sell it will be delicious!

Thanks Owen! Have added your suggestion and comment to your map. Also added scotproof's suggestion of Vanilla Skye, a place that makes handmade chocolates on the Isle of Skye.
Incidentally, I also got this comment on the main blog from Lou at the Opposite Cafe in Leeds: "Thanks for the link Scottish chocolate lady - we'd only been open a week when you came (hence no signs)! Love from Opposite xxx".
